About Kerreen M. Chau  

 

Kerreen is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist practicing in Orange County. She has over 15 years of experience working with individuals, couples and families. Kerreen Chau has continued her education past her LMFT and is currently a Doctoral Candidate. Kerreen Chau received her undergraduate education at Christian Heritage College in San Diego in Human Development where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. Kerreen Chau then received her Masters from Alliant International University in Marriage and Family Therapy graduating Magna Cum Laude. Kerreen Chau has worked at Family Stress Counseling Services providing services for couples, families and individuals as well as working for the YMCA providing therapeutic services.

 

She is also contracted at local schools to provide therapy for teenagers and their families. Kerreen Chau has completed her doctoral comps and internships and is all but dissertation in her doctoral studies at AIU. Kerreen Chau is working on her research on longitudinal therapeutic change in couples with the support of the National Library of Medicine and the Bowen Center for the Study of the Family in Georgetown. She is a clinical member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapist and California Association of Marriage and Family Therapy and a member of The National Society of Leadership. She currently has two private practices opened in San Diego and Orange County.
